NOTACON Call For Papers is now open at notacon.org

Create an awesome (to me, possibly to her) and unique birthday gift for my dear friend, Selkie. I've posted a list of materials, pictures, and the official review from the birthday girl herself.

Selkie says...:

"I wuvs it. <3  That's my official review."

Materials:

4 port USB Hub
XBOX (original) controller
Screwdriver
Super glue
Soldering iron and solder

Instructions:

1. Take apart USB hub so that only the electronic bits remain.

2. Remove all the screws from the back of your XBox controller. The one that I used was a dark blue, semi-transparent controller from Pelican ACC.

3. Use your soldering iron to melt away the circular bits sticking up around the circuit board. After holding the controller normally, use the soldering iron to melt away the piece of plastic that is at the bottom

4. Fit the USB hub so  that the 4 ports are where the piece of plastic that was removed in step 3 was. Super glue in place.

5. Replace the back of the controller after finangling the wire from the USB hub to your liking and screw the two pieces of the controller back together.

6. Plug something in to test it and enjoy!
